The dry season (May to October) offers clear skies and the famous mirror effect is minimal but you can walk on the salt. The wet season (November to April) creates the spectacular mirror effect but access may be limited. We operate year-round and adapt our routes accordingly.
Essential items include: sunglasses, sunscreen (high SPF), warm clothing for cold nights, comfortable shoes, camera, personal medications, and cash for entrance fees. We provide sleeping bags for multi-day tours.
Yes, all our guides are certified by the Bolivian Tourism Authority and have extensive local knowledge. Most of our guides speak fluent English and Spanish. For other languages, please inquire in advance.
We use modern Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 vehicles, regularly maintained and equipped with safety equipment, first aid kits, and emergency communication devices. Maximum 6 passengers per vehicle for comfort.

We offer flexible cancellation: Full refund if cancelled 7+ days before departure, 50% refund if cancelled 3-6 days before, no refund for cancellations within 48 hours unless due to weather conditions controlled by us.
At 10:30 AM we depart from Uyuni city to the Train Cemetery, 22 km away. We'll observe handicrafts and iodized salt processing in Colchani. 4km further we enter the world's largest salt flat, visiting Salt Piles, Salt Eyes, Playa Blanca Salt Hotel (Museum), Incahuasi Island (Entry 30bs. Lunch) to visit the Cactus Valley and observe the panoramic view of the Salt Flat, returning to Uyuni arriving approximately at 5:30 PM.

Departure at 10:30 AM. Visit Train Cemetery, Colchani salt handicrafts, iodized salt processing plant, salt eyes, Dakar monument, Playa Blanca Salt Hotel (museum), perspective photos on the salt flat, Incahuasi Island, return to hostel.
Departure at 9:00-9:30 AM. Pass through Pulacayo observing the mine entrance, take the Potosí road, arrive at Tomave town to observe the colonial church from outside, pass to the small town of Kanqe visiting the ancient stone mills, hot springs, Orko Qasilla lagoon (green lagoon), China Qasilla lagoon, return to Uyuni city.

We leave at 5:00 AM to observe the sunrise. Visit the Mummies, ascend Tunupa Volcano to observe the immense Salt Flat from the viewpoint. Lunch and continuing we visit the Pottery Museum and return to Uyuni, end of tour.

At 10:30 AM we depart from Uyuni city to Train Cemetery, 22km away. Departure at 7:00 AM passing through small town San Juan, Chiguana salt flat, Ollague volcano viewpoint, high Andean lagoons (Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Charcota, Ramaditas), Siloli desert, Stone Tree, Colorada Lagoon, overnight in Huayllajara.
We leave at 5:00 AM approximately to visit Sol de Mañana (Geysers), Hot Springs (Breakfast) continuing observing a small Salvador Dalí desert, Green Lagoon and White Lagoon (Connection with San Pedro de Atacama Chile for people wishing to continue their journey to Chile). For people returning to Uyuni we visit Villa Mar (Lunch) continuing with the tour observing Rock Valley, San Cristóbal (Colonial Church) and ending the tour at 5:30 PM approximately in Uyuni.

Observe the sunrise at the edge of the Uyuni Salt Flat, make the ascent to Tunupa Volcano, upon descending we'll enter to see the Mummies Museum located in the first viewpoint, continue the tour observing the Chiquini stalactites and stalagmites Grotto, then arrive to rest at the community hostel of Llavica community.
We make the tour together with the Llama Caravan heading towards the Cave Paintings, continue the tour visiting Chuvica and San Juan Lacayas (overnight in salt hostel).
Visit Chiguana Salt Flat, Ollague Volcano viewpoint, continue the tour route to appreciate the High Andean Lagoons (Cañapa, Hedionda, Charcota, Honda) then pass through Siloli desert observing the 7-color mountain, Stone Tree, in the afternoon arrive to observe the wonderful color of Colorada Lagoon (overnight in Huayllajara basic accommodation).
Start the tour approximately at 7:00 AM to observe Sol de Mañana Geyser, Hot Springs, Licancabur Volcano, observe the color change of Green Lagoon, and nearby appreciate White Lagoon and Capina, cave paintings then arrive to rest at Villa Mar.
